Bike hire prices

Also on pretty hilly routes - hope you're fit! For most of these, would it be a good option to take the bike on the train to Hirschaid or Buttenheim? Also worth visiting Kraus in Hirschaid - nice beer (specially the Hirschentrunk and a very pleasant garden. Maybe you might make it Forchheim - really good place with 4 breweries. We could go on forever!
