CAMRA does and has campaigned for over sized glasses and many more pubs offer them today. These are mainly pubs that serve quality beer and are frequented by CAMRA members. Regional differences cause issues as well - the traditional 'Northern' bitter will have a head an inch thick, whereas in 'the south' they like their ale 'flat'. I agree with you though.
