| I suppose my rather more positive experiences with real ale in England might be because I almost invariably limit myself to pubs that have been noted to take good care of their beer by a certain consumer-rights organisation over there. OTOH, I will note that the New Oxford in Manchester does seem to have trouble keeping their beer --all TWELVE casks-- cool enough. And I *try* to limit myself too beer I know to be rather good, not pongy cack! (Well hopped, not too strong!) |
