No, that's per 25 kg sack, but then also organic/Bio is more expensive than the normal stuff. But then with an exchange rate of $1.30, my price is $62.40, so, about the same. Without having to travel to California to pick it up! Seriously though, they charge more at their Logistikzentrum, because Sabine wants to support her distributors, *not* undercut them. < http://www.hobbybrauerversand.de/Malz-Malzmischungen/Sackware > is where I buy yeast and other oddments --today, actually, a replacement precision hydrometer < http://www.hobbybrauerversand.de/products/Maischen-Laeutern/Saccharimeter-Hobby-Bierwuerzespindel-0-7-01.html > and also recently 400 gm of the most excellent Polaris hops-- and yeah, I could order the cheaper PA malt from there for 29€ plus shipping, which might be as much as 15€. But I gladly pay extra for the privilege of driving up there and picking it up myself, kind of a special perk of living here, I guess. Each time, they have to calculate a price for me, because they don't have Hobbybrauer prices for organic/Bio malt, just for regular malt. |
