The Vollbier is pretty sweet, no doubt; but their Landbier , hopped with Spalter Select, is IMO simply far better than most of the good franconian brews. Very hoppy without an unpleasant bitterness, very smooth and extremely moreish... So ask just for a BOTTLE of Landbier when You are in Schlammersdorf next time!
