Booked My Bamberg Trip - Zoigl

It is very new and, as I understand, isn't even within the zoigl zone. Martin is a glazier (gloser) and the premises were previously occupied by a firm of accountants (I think). When they moved out, Martin had the great idea of creating the zoigl-stube and, with Frau Popp, went to enormous lengths to buy old fittings to create an atmosphere. As you say, very successfully. Martin was welcomed into the zoigl fraternity because there was need for extra capacity, similarly to Gunter Zimmermann at Zum Post'n. They also decided on the organic theme to give another twist to things. Incidentally, at the bottom of the street where it joins the Hauptstr, there used to be another stube, which closed a few years ago.
