Is there still any interest in franconian breweries in this forum?

Hi Juergen - yes, decidedly yes! But, for most of us, Franken breweries are only a beautiful summer memory, so we while away our time before the next visit thinking of many different things. From my limited experience, that's the nature of the stamtisch and any other conversation between friends. Maybe I am culpable of diverting attention because of my affection for zoigl and, particularly, Eschawo but I assume most members will be interested in all beery things. Re Franken - although I am headed for a few weeks in Eschawo in May/June, I hope to commence my holidays by visiting Rothenburg and Dinkelsbuehl with, perhaps a swift visit to Spielbach. We will be staying for a few days in Leipheim and largely dependent on our hosts for transport. It is likely that we will come back to Franken in August/September but not yet decided. Ideas and suggestions always welcome! And, did I not try to persuade Nick to buy the defunct Vestenberg brewery?!!!
