| As someone else said, it's a matter of a horse or a dog being more of a friend or comrade than a cow or a pig is. For me, anyway, and yes, that's pretty arbitrarily defined! I don't give our puppy chew treats made from horse, FWIW. Interesting thought on the veggie burgers. Sending off my written notice of intent to produce 20 litres of ca. 9% Stammwürze beer in my home on Tuesday to the customs office presently. I forgot to note previously, I have to specify where both the production of the wort *and* the fermentation into beer thereof take place -- it's the latter that they're really concerned with. If you don't ferment it at home, you don't get the 200 litre / year tax-free allowance. |
