Indeed; I had that turned around the wrong way in my head. I also had it turned around the wrong way the first time I tried to cancel my BahnCard50 a few years ago. I had it in my head that I had to cancel WITHIN the last six weeks of my contract, not BEFORE. So we had a couple of BahnCards for an extra year...we had just simply stopped travelling outside the local area regularly enough to warrant keeping them, so wanted to get rid of them.
