OT English grammar

Jawohl. I'd forgotten about it. I think you're right, "himself or herself" is the most correct way to reflect on "someone", but then it occurs to me that "if one falls and injures oneself" is also correct and more efficient. In German, this is all somewhat simplified, as the reflexive pronoun "sich" covers all third person usage in such cases AFAIK.
