Best of Bock?

Hell oder Dunkel… That's not the question in Franconia! Most of the Bocks aren't neither really "hell" nor "dunkel". It is anyone's guess how to describe the beers correctly. I would call the Aufseßer Bock "light amber coloured". Had also Pfisterer Weigelshofen Bock (too sweet), Löwenbräu Buttenheim Bock (a bit too sweet), Knoblach Schammelsdorf Bock (pretty hoppy), Görchla Bock Memmelsdorf (o.k.), Schlenkerla ur-Bock(superb) and Mahrs Bock (nice). Bockbierzeit is great…
