I will assume OaP means "on a pension"...? Retirees. Wait...you're that old?!? B & I also pass on the packets of "savoury or sweet" chemical products designed to further dehydrate the human body and destroy the taste buds offered by the cabin crew, as if the dry air and low air pressure in the airplane doesn't dry us out well enough already. We bring our own water and snacks (sometimes, depends on the flight, an apple or sandwich) on board too, so you're not the only eccentrics in this regard. We learnt long ago that drinking lots of water whilst flying fends off colds. And helps with jet-lag...I think.
