| On second thought, I think those halls were closed last year. Browsing around for info on the hop seminar, I came across this photo of Charlie with the hop queens from last year < http://www.institut-romeis.de/news/21/big/09.jpg > which led me to this one < http://www.institut-romeis.de/news/21/big/09.jpg > which is doubly noteworthy because that's where the most excellent Nelson Sauvin Pils was last year, and in the background, the Murphy's & Sons stand is where the English beer handpumps were, sometimes pouring first-rate real ales like Hawkshead Windermere Pale. And I think that's right near the Orval stand (or the stand which featured Orval and Orval cheese anyway) as well as Weyermann's. That's another plus: Weyermann Bier vom Fass, at least 3 or 4, right? I don't see any reference to CAMBA, but their location, Truchtlaching, reveals BrauKon GmbH. I assume that's them. I'll have to give them a closer look this time, though I've not been impressed with their beer so far, either there or in München in April. A fortnight to wait! Jürgen, can you make it? |
