Meeting Mark

How complicated planning gets, even several months in advance. I have a family event - aunt's 75th birthday celebration - on 16 June 2013, and we'll probably stick around for a few days after that. We'll probably be able to sort four weeks' holiday then, but even then that means arrival in late May, not mid-May. The wife is also making rumblings about being rather tired of oft-repeated trips to Bamberg/Franconia - maybe a Zoigl gathering in the Good Old Oberpfalz would be in order instead? We'll see how it goes next year. Personally, I'd prefer late-September/early-October travel to Zoigl country, to take in the two Kommunbrauer fests in Mitterteich and Neuhaus. This stems from our last Zoigl stay, perhaps, during which we had nothing but good-quality beer in all the Zoigl houses we visited; not a single butterscotch-laden or old, tired, slightly sour beer to found, along with a memorable experience or two.
