Walking in Franconia

Well, our trip from Ebermannstadt to Heiligenstadt is only about 10km, but it took us close to an hour: the women in our party kept stopping to take photos. I much prefer either bike or foot to a car, for example, but you do need to reckon on "stop to smell the roses" moments, which can add up. Fortunately though, touring beer places in Franconia isn't a race - it's often the slowest contestant who's had the best time.
