Keller life

Two new beers this year at the Friedel Brauhaus yesterday, both quite good at 4.3% and 4.0%, respectively: < https://twitter.com/ErlangerNick/status/258580833135378433 > < https://twitter.com/ErlangerNick/status/258584873621651456 > The Eiche is their new take on late summer Kellerbier and is quite pleasantly "balanced", as I suppose we're supposed to say around here these days. Meaning, there is a nice hop bitterness to it. They said that their various 2.8% abv summer beers made with various grains like oats, spelt, and whatever-else sold really well, but they stop doing them in autumn, since people aren't so thirsty then. They have Urlaub from 22 Okt - 22 Nov, then winter hours (Fr - Su from 11.00), and then closed again for a good long stretch after Xmas.
