| I've never been to one, despite having lived a short train ride from Bamberg since the 2004 Bockbiersaison (if I may be permitted to invent such a word). And I do like good Bockbier, particularly the pale, dry, Franconian Winterbock kind. But I don't like the crowds associated with Bockbieranstich. I'd recommend the Best of Bock event at Der Pelikan, though this is also a fairly crowded event. Do you have the details for this year's, Gerhard? |
