OT: Lambic and sours (was Forchheim update 5)

Oooh, Tilquin. Yep, we can get that in Seattle. Love it. If you're fond of this level of tart/sour beer, you'd probably find the Cascade sours, from Portland, Oregon, to be quite interesting indeed. They aren't lambics, more modelled after Flemish sours (lactic secondary fermentation in barrels), and the range is something to be experienced. As well, Cascade also have done Gose, and the recent Summer Gose was quite a treat. We will have a side trip to Brussels coming up amidst travels in Germany, as Cantillon will put on a beer + food event dubbed Quintessence. One more to tick from the bucket list.
