| Many thanks, Mat, for the interesting report. Unfortunately, Google Maps doesn't show anything in the area you described, however, a new iPhone map program called PocketEarth describes it as "Convenience Store Reichert" in the location you gave. I assume that's it, though the description is probably not quite correct. Also, for your future trips or others interested, there seems to be pretty good bus service there (Uetzing). I see six buses per day (M-F) between Bad Staffelstein train station and Uetzing between 09:22 and 17:52 (the 12:45 bus leaves only on school days) and a second bus that runs four buses during that time. The second bus also has one bus on Saturday. Take a look around here (http://www.lichtenfels.bayern.de/) for more information, if you're interested. I'd love to visit there, but won't have time on my next trip. Looks like I'll just have to plan going there more often! |
