Nice bike tour of Franken breweries

Hi Ian, You can pick up loads of free stuff from the tourist office in Bamberg, naps etc. We did a round trip from Bamberg to Burgebrach and back, about 40k, passing through Muhlendorf and Ampferbach, then returning along the river/canal. Loads of breweries, kellers, you could stay in Burgebrach and do dtuff from there. Not really Weissbier country, but some wonderful beers to try.
