Brauereigasthof Penning-Zeissler

The location is quite nice, up in the corner of a valley in the Fränkischen Schweiz, hard to get to by public transport, especially because the opening hours aren't bus route-friendly: 17.00 weekdays. People rave about the food --the portions being huge for low cost-- but I don't recall ever eating there. I like the beer quite a bit, it's normally fairly dry yet malt-accented, copper-coloured. I used to say it reminds me of a lagered Altbier. I guess I might still say that.
