Brauereigasthof Penning-Zeissler

It's called "Hetzelsdorfer Vollbier" after the name of the village, or yes, "Hetzi" for short. Like the famous Mönchsambacher Lager from Br. Zehender in the village of Mönchsambach or a few other village-named beers. I'm overdue for a re-visit, but the timing is difficult except on weekends, and we just don't head that direction often any more. It's available around a few places in Erlangen on CO2 draught, and I can't recall exactly how it's served at the brewery. Good point about Meister, as Hetzselsdorf is just over the hill from Unterzaunsbach. Which, in turn, is just up the road from Pretzfeld. One could do a very nice 11 km walk to all three breweries such as < http://tinyurl.com/nickl-meister-hetzi > There's bus service to Unterzaunsbach, but it's a bit convoluted IIRC.
