| Sorry, reading Gerhard's missive again, I think the answer is there: 'With both cards (TagesTicket Plus and Bamberg Card) it isn't allowed to drive to the surrounding villages (Bischberg, Gundelsheim, Hallstadt, Memmelsdorf einschl. Schammelsdorf, Stegaurach) which You can reach with the city buses. For such targets You have to pay more (You need a ticket for the so-called Zone 2, avaiable from the bus driver).' So, if travelling from Forchheim to Stiebarlimbach (for Kreuzberg and Roppelt!), presumably, when you reach the end of tariff zone 441, you pay for the extra zones, which according to the plan are zones 442, 461, 462, 463, 464 and 371. I make that 6 extra zones but the VGN fahrpreisinfo says that the journey is 'Preisstufe 4' or 3 + T. I don't understand this! |
