Bad Staffelstein

Did take the train to Zapfendorf, where we discovered that there's a brand new wide bike path along the highway between Zapfendorf and Bad Staffelstein. Too new for my GPS maps to know about it. Was a fabulous summer holiday at this, the fourth year of the fest. Very, very well worth visiting. And the Metzger Bräu was the favourite AFICR. Got a bit blurry in the last hour or so before we left at ~19.30. Dry, malty, light brown, much better made than "brewed in a sausage kettle" might make it sound to some. And he's working on opening a real brewpub-ish operation in Uetzing!
