I can beat that Fred - when I played at my friend's folkclub in the Erzgebirge, we followed an Elvis impersonator - never thought that would happen to me! He was supposed to be the champion of somewhere or other and wore a suit that had been made by Elvis' tailor in Memphis. Actually, he was quite good and sang in English (sort of) but went on way too long. Mind you, his 3-year old daughter loved him!
