Berliner Biermeile

I've been twice, though not so recently. I agree it is no substitute for a visit to Franconia. However, it is interesting because of the vast variety of beers to try - including Czech ones. And there is a variety of local foods as well. For those who don't get a chance to travel much around Germany, it can be a very nice introduction.
