| Sorry to hear about that. I guess you must like Irish music. Can't remember whether I said in my Eschawo reports that I visited my friend in Schoenheide and we played together in his 'folk pub' (me, banjo and fiddle; he, guitar and bodhran; his daughter, whistle). A good night - maybe we do a tour of Germany one day. What was really funny was visiting that stube near the Steinwald run by the Romanian guy. He invited us to a musical evening; I thought he said that there was going to be a Yiddish band from Czech Rep but it turned out to be an 'Irish' band from Pilzen! Actually, they were ok-ish but the girl fiddle player got all embarrassed when she found out we were from Ireland. Didn't tell her that I played the fiddle! |
