| Well it's that month again. I've already had a bottle of the Hebendanz, and again this year it's a huge disappointment compared to the draught at the fest. And the other day, we had a Seidla of it at the Zollhaus Straßenfest here in Erlangen, where Hebendanz seems to bring the Annafestbier each year. And it sucked so bad I dumped about half of it: butterscotch. But then it occurred to me: it sucked, as it usually does, because they're serving it too young. It needs those extra 3 weeks of lagering before it reaches that nice stage it's at by late July. Anyone else going? |
