All good suggestions. I would also add that you can (relatively) easily get to Stiebarlimbach from Bamberg (train to Forchheim, then the bus; or train to Hirschaid and then a taxi; or train to Eggolsheim and a somewhat long walk), then visit Roppelt's Keller and then walk up the hill to the 3 Kellers up there (Rittmayer, Lieberth, and Friedel). If those are not enough, there are other pubs in the area, and you can also get off the bus at Schlammersdorf on the way back, and visit Brauerei Witzgall, and then walk to Eggolsheim for the train back to Bamberg.
