| No I didn't ask for the story and it wouldn't have done much good anyhow as the folks running the hotel don't speak English and my German is extremely limited. I wasn't really at the hotel much other than to sleep. We pretty much spent the whole day at Roppelt's and Kreuzberg and a fine day it was too. We made it back to the hotel just in time for a nightcap. I recall the beer being good but nothing great. Mainly, I love the location of the place. It's a very easy/convenient walk to Roppelt's and I suppose Hallerndorf as well although we didn't make the time to go there. I would have liked to have visited the kellers at Hallerndorf but it was too nice at Roppelt's and hard to leave with such good company. Next time maybe a 2 night stay in Willersdorf? |
