| Between Bingen and Mainz You can find in Ingelheim (industrial area) the Brauhaus Goldener Engel http://brauhausgoldenerengel.de/ The beers are okay, but ordinary (for micro breweries) and in the result a great success in this wine region. But the ambiance is unusal. Not a copy of a traditional bavarian brewpub, but modern. 2009 the brewpup was nominated for the Designpreis der BRD 2009 (design award).
