| Gerrit, how do you like Gröninger? My wife and I tried that brewpub for the first time last December and I really enjoyed it. I brought a jug of the beer back home with me to share with my fellow members of the Cape Cod homebrew club and everyone was impressed with the beer. I'd love to see a few more places like Gröninger in Hamburg. The city has such a great brewing history and its unfortunate that it has been so decimated. Although we did enjoy the Duckstein festival a couple of summers ago. I do love the city though. My friends live in the Großneumarkt neighborhood and we've visited them several times over the last few years and have enjoyed exploring Hamburg with them. Yes, including the Reeperbahn. Well there are some good music clubs there after all. |
