| I don't know if you are aware, but you can also rent a bike (possibly for much less) from the train service. Here (http://www.bahn.de/p/view/service/fahrrad/rad_vermiet.shtml) they say prices start at €3/day. You could also rent a bike, take a train somewhere and then return by bike. The combination of a train ticket and bike rental would be cheaper. For direct rental from the train (yes, the Bamberg station has bikes), look here: http://www.callabike.de/ |
