Quite happy to help, Bondy. If you want to go exploring in the area outside Bamberg, there is excellent bus service that stops in almost every village in the area. As I have a lot of experience with these buses, if you need help with that, just post something here and I'll do my best to find a solution for you. Driving a car on a beer trip is not only very expensive and, for the driver, no fun, but some of the best experiences I've had in Bavaria happened on buses.
