Popping my Bamberg Cherry!

I have traveled from the US to Bamberg by flying to FRA and then taking trains many times, but lately I much prefer to fly into NUE (either connecting thru FRA or MUC). As Nick said, NUE is much smaller and nicer, and the train ride from NUE to Bamberg is shorter than from FRA to Bamberg. As for staying at a brewery, I heard that Mahrs Bräu has a room or two, but I have not heard from anyone on this board saying they have stayed there. There is a hotel not far from Mahrs and Keesmann called Drei Ecke. My usual hotel in Bamberg is the Ibis when I am not staying in a holiday apartment. Cheers!
