Thought I’d add my advice to the mountain already posted, apologies if already covered, I haven’t read every post. If you are Swindon-based, Heathrow could be good for you if flying to Nuremberg – there are a number of options although all involve a change. I’ve flown via Amsterdam with KLM and via Duesseldorf with Lufthansa. Or there’s Swissair. Allow plenty of time for changing planes in these high-security times – go straight to the departure gate. For accommodation I believe advice posted in the past was to ring Faessla in the morning, weekdays say 0900 local time and speak to the boss.
