It's good, but sweet. At least where I've had it -- in cafeterias at lunchtime. Where I'm from, you just don't eat something like that for lunch. But I strive to be open-minded. Sugar rush and crash in the early afternoon. But these people also eat cake and coffee at odd times of day too. Kirschmännla is probably also a Lent tradition, I bet.
