Mobile Internet surf

In Belgium I use BASE -- €10 for 500mb of transfer. Not as good as some others but good enough as I'm usually in Belgium for no more than 4-5 days. Another option for shorter trips (or one where you have an expense account) is www.iPhoneTrip.com -- I used them for my recent trip to Warsaw. Great for Yanks who have a (locked) AT&T iPhone as well. It's not cheap, but you don't have the hassle of trying find and activate a local data SIM.
