York == Bamberg of Britain?

Just about every city in the UK is now great for beer lovers. Newcastle, where I live was one huge beer desert 30 years ago, but now has several microbreweries and a host of great pubs serving their products. Why Bamburgh? Not even sure theres a pub there!
