Kalt in Europa

As we say here, 'Sorry for your troubles!' (usually applies when someone passes away). We've had a really mild winter on the west coast, thanks to the friendly jetstream and gulfstream, while Britain has suffered temps as low as -16C. But, of course, it has been wet, very wet - in fact, it's hardly stopped raining since last August, though there was beautiful sunrise this morning (just caught the tail end of it). Hope it warms up in Eschawo soon, far too cold for a plunge in the freibad. Might have to stay in the zoigl stube.
