| We have really weird laws about serving beer at breweries here in Texas. They aren't allowed to sell their beer at the brewery. It has to first go to a distributor and then to the retailer before we can buy it. So when breweries have a tasting room visitors buy a glass and a tour and then are allowed free samples. This brewery has their tasting room open on Saturdays and for $10 you get a 16 oz snifter and six 8 oz samples. One of the investors has connections to an importer and they're able to get the gravity kegs as an additional treat for their visitors. They also serve about 5 of the house beers which are very good as well. You can choose whichever beer(s) you want to sample. |
