Back in 1972 we have defended Fulda pass from Wilfleken 3rd Infantry division. The battle was for strategic brewery cellars like that on Kreuzberg or in Bamberg´s Schlenkerla. After we got one or two pitchers in Wildflecken the car raise started. We had to stop Russians as they tried to take monk´s brewery over. Under the heavy doze of alcohol we raised to top and tried to save what we could. We drank as much se we could because the rest could get Ivan, obviously only his tanks could come through. It was well defended Autobahn bridges were under nuclear mines and entire NATO was ready to defend two Breweries: Kreuzberg´s dark beer and smoke beer in Schlenkerla in Bamberg. I would suggest to make a reunion of war heroes. Americans with Allies and Bundeswehr on one side and penetrating Soviets together with Volks Armee and Vopos on the other.
