Frohe Weihnachten...Feiertage!

My first long-distance drive in Europe was also my first time driving in Europe, in 1985. Drove from Amsterdam to (West) Berlin. That experience is now and fortunately not possible to duplicate. If you thought Belgian roads a touch dodgy, you should have been on the Autobahns of the old DDR then. I've been on washboards that were smoother. At one point, I thought the fillings in my teeth were going to rattle out.
