Spezial Festbier

I tried this during my recent weekend in Bamberg and agree with Nick - it did taste a little thin, although I wasn't sure if that was just in comparison with the always excellent Rauchbier and the bock. To be honest, the bock was lovely (I'm not a fan of the pale bocks - I like them deep and rich like this one!) but I find the Spezial Rauchbier just so hard to beat and I'm not in town often enough to be turning down opportunities to drink it!
