Spot on, and I'd add that the typical GoodBeer drinker in the US (that is, one who's never been to the UK and had properly cask-conditioned Real Ale) has no idea what's wrong with his keg-run-through-a-beer-engine "cask-conditioned" beer. Proper cask-conditioning is a tradition in the UK, whereas beer engines are largely a gimmick in the US. Speaking generally, anyway...of course I'm sure there are a few exceptions in the US.
