| Maybe, it's stupid but it's a tradition and that's half of what beer drinking is all about - otherwise we'd all be drinking Bud, Coors, Watney's Red, Bitburger (?)... In the good old days, breweries used to supply beer mats free of charge (along with bar towels and loads of other paraphernalia) but, now, pubs have to pay for them. |
