| The Franconian brewery-pubs are all privately-owned for-profit enterprises, and beer mats are widely seen as a cheap marketing tool, so it's no surprise that they're easily available. The Zoigl houses in the Oberpfalz are part-time operations, traditionally with virtually no marketing budget, until they started leveraging Internet technologies in recent years. So it's no surprise that you're going to see few marketing tools from Zoigl-Land, including own-brand beer mats, although they do exist; I've got a few of these "house-branded" mats in my pile-o'-mats collection. |
