I've been to Schwanen-Bräu once several years ago and remember being intrigued by the beer. Need to get to Höfen for that Dunkel. Didn't realise there were 8 of you lot, I figured it was just you and the missus. I actually agree with the "pilsy" opinion on Fischer, it's kind of too simple IMO. I've enjoyed the winter Bock though. I do like a good Pils though. Carbonic acid? What about the Reinheitsgebot? ;) The German word for "carbon dioxide" is literally written as "carbon-acid" or "carbon-sour", owing to their use of their own words for chemical elements rather than Greek in most cases.
