| Regarding white bread. This season, I've been bringing my own organic-shop-bought whole grain (vollkorn) bread with me when I lunch at the Bierkeller. The bread on offer is tasty and usually very fresh, but it's not whole-grain. And I notice a huge difference in my energy level on the ride home a few hours after eating: much better with whole-grain bread. |
