Der Karpfen

Cherie had deep-fried carp last Saturday night at a country place, Gasthof "Zur Linde" north of Vehlberg in the outer reaches of SW Franconia. Just Kulmbacher on tap, but the carp was well-prepared, still with some fat in (needed for texture really), and as usual, flesh was very very mild in flavor, but the bits with skin on were tasty. Not bad, but I liked my portion of venison better.
